My weekend was pretty boring in terms of photos, but it was jammed packed with things. At 8:00 pm on Sunday I'm ready to collapse.
Friday:
I got off work at 4:00, ran home and made waffles and bacon, my go to easy meal. Then the husband took Georgia to soccer while I took my oldest to the 1st back to school dance hosted by another catholic school. The larger catholic schools take turns hosting dances for the middle school kids through the year. The girls school will host two later in the year.
After the dance was over we picked her up and took her to taco bell (tradition, don't hate), then she came home and took an hour nap. At 11:00 she got up to go to midnight golf with a friend and her youth group from midnight to 3:00 am. It was a long night for us all.
Saturday;
It started slow, I was up by 8:00 am and I felt so horrible. It was slow going for sure, but by 10:30 I was out the door to the local Brother dealer. I have been thinking for awhile about getting a 6 needle embroidery machine. I had a single needle for a while and I wanted an upgrade. So off to the dealer we went. Asked a million and one questions, left to think about it and get some lunch. Then off to Jo-Ann's to think about it some more. While I was there, they called (duh) to let me know that if I go ahead with the purchase they will throw the hat attachment in for "free". Seriously though, It's super cool, it embroiders hats y'all! So we went back to ask a million more questions. At the end of it all I walked away as a new owner of the Brother PR655, 6 needle machine, AND the Brother Scan n Cut. What!! Yep, so if you need ANYTHING let me know!
I am so excited to get the machines and get them working for me!
So I came home, took a 15 minute break and was back out there. We headed off to PetCo to upgrade the fishes tank. Georgia has a Betta fish that we moved from a regular bowl to a filtering fish tank. We didn't realize at the time the tank didn't come with any rocks or anything. Poor guy was just in there with the few rock that were there from his other tank and nothing, he looked so sad. We we upgraded him!
Sad Tank
Happy Tank
We also happened to walk out with this cute little guy. His name is Shaggy because he is so shaggy and funny looking. He belongs to Claire. This is her second hamster. He is just so super sweet. He doesn't fuss at all about being picked up by the girls.
Yep, that's poop.
Sunday:
Slow and easy. Yay!!
Sunday Ed, Claire and Georgia watched The Empire Strikes Back and I cleaned up my computer desk area. Nothing big, thankfully.
I went grocery shopping, yep that's it. The big girls are in my bed right now watching the VMA right now. I hope everyone has a great week!
