This weekend was as normal as they get for me. Lots of errands and house cleaning. Woo Hoo!
Friday night I got of work and we headed up to the country club for Friday night Fried Chicken. I mean Yum!
Then we headed off to Georgia's soccer practice. It was so nice outside so I totally didn't mind sitting in my lawn chair watching her have a good time.
After practice she wanted to go get this water bottle that some of the other girls have on the team, it's a misting water bottle, so we headed to Academy Sports to pick it up. It's really pretty cool and I bet more time will be spent playing with it than actually drinking out of it. But oh well, Let em be little, right!
But while we were there I did something that I've wanted to do for a long time! I GOT A BIKE! Woohoo. It's nothing fancy, as my husband said, it's a starter bike. Just to get back in the habit of riding a bike. But I'm sure excited. Georgia said she had to "Check it out to make sure it was ok for me" She gave me the thumbs up to go ahead. HA!
Saturday we cleaned house, Claire went to an IMAX and then hung out with a friend all day. I picked some new craft projects I think I'm going to start, so watch out for those, here is a peak of what I might do for each kid in picture order, Lydia, Claire (who hates to wear pants at home) and Georgia.
At 5:00 we went to mass then after mass we went to the Back To School picnic that the Knight of Columbus host every year. It was super fun, the kids really enjoyed it. Then home and some friends came over to hang out.
Sunday we got up early and I took Lydia (13) and one of her friends and her friends mom to all the places she likes to go. So we started our afternoon with an Iced Chai Latte at a super cool and super hip coffee shop, City and State. If you've never been and you live in Memphis you should totally go!
Lydia on the patio looking way older and cooler than 13!
After City and State we were off to Urban Outfitter, lunch at the new Whole Foods, then to the new H&M, then to the M.A.C. counter where she got some cool purple lip stick called Men Love Mystery
Then HOME to collapse. It was a long day of shopping! And a GREAT weekend! Hope everyone had a great weekend and a great week to come.
