Weekend(s) recap and some stuff in the middle...

Lets start with Friday Sept 5, 2015. Georgia has soccer practice like every Friday night.

They are so cute out there!

And they are good, their coach is GREAT!

I gotta say my G is a pretty darn good soccer player for being only 7, and she's so dang cute.

I really enjoyed sitting out there in the awesome weather watching her and her team mates with this guy!

Dribbling.

Packed parking lot for the 1st Home game for the High School!

The Soccer Field. This is why I love this church/school so much. Like with the packed parking lot and the packed soccer field, there is so much community at this church/school. I love that the girls feel so much pride and feel they belong to something.

On this Friday night the girls had to go to the high school football game for the field blessing. The High School just finished with the installation of a new AstroTurf(I guess that's what its called?) and their was a blessing of the field for the first home game of the season. The monsignor and several Priests came out for the blessing. It was so nice so see so many people!

This goofball kid, talked her dad into taking her to get cookie dough since her middle sister left her for a friend to go to the fair for the night. She came home sick as a dog from only eating funnel cake and riding all the rides that will make you sick. So goofball sister was better off at home I guess.

A week prior I bought myself a brand new Brother PR 655, 6 needle embroidery machine, you can go back and read the post, I'll wait....

Okay, good! So I was waiting to take it out of the box until I got the cabinet that it sits on, that came in on Thursday, YAY! So Friday after the game we put it together and then this happened. My husband attempted to pick the machine up with out my help, EVEN AFTER I SAID WAIT FOR ME IT'S TOO HEAVY TO PICK UP BY YOUR SELF. He didn't listen. He dropped it. It shattered. It was unusable. I cried.... read text to my friend below. It all turned out okay, it's a happy ending(ish.)

Saturday morning we woke to a death. Georgia's cricket Hoppy passed away. Poor guy. She recovered in like 2.3 seconds and now want's another cricket. Which is fine with me! Easiest pet ever!

Like I said, happy ending. They covered the machine under warranty and had it fixed by 2:00 pm the SAME DAY!!! I tell ya I was so relieved! Isn't she pretty!!

So Saturday night we headed over to some friends for a BBQ, the only pic I snapped was of G saying her smile is broken. I'd say so....yikes kids. The specks on her face are chocolate pie and swimming pool.

Sunday night I played with my machine......

The thread is so pretty!! I made a bag for G's teacher.

So much fun!! I can't wait to get my embroidery business off the ground!

Fast forward one week. Friday Sept 11, 2015. My husband and I took our oldest to Philadelphia, Pa. for the weekend. There was an outdoor festival that she really wanted to go to so we got tickets and headed up. My husband works right outside Philly in NJ and had to be there this week, so we tagged along for the weekend.

City of Philly coming from the airport.

Waiting for our rental...

Friday night we had dinner at Max Brenner. So cool! A chocolate restaurant.

It was so late when we finally go to the hotel we just crashed.

Saturday we got up and headed to the Reading Terminal Market. Guys... SO COOL!! If you are ever in Philly or live close GO!!

Her sticky bun for the Amish bakery.

And note that box of donuts, Beiler's Donuts. So I was rushed in making a decision on flavor, I picked PB&J under duress. I thought, I am NOT going to like that. Well guess what, I loved it and now want another so bad and am so sad they are soooooo far away from me. Boo, why cant we get good BP&J donuts in Memphis!

After too much food we headed to the Liberty Bell. It was so cool to think about the history behind this city!

Then Independence Hall... I mean, all that history! So cool!

This is the room where the foundation of our nation was laid.

Playing with the selfie stick she got. And that she had to toss the very next day to get into the festival. Daddy, being the good daddy that he is, had already replaced the selfie stick. "If that selfie stick gets tossed, daddy's gonna buy you a new selfie stick to annoy everyone around you, but he doesn't care because making you happy is what he lives for" That's how the song goes right???

She loves making silly faces.....

After the historical sight seeing we headed to Philly's Chinatown. So fun.

After Chinatown, we went to the mall for some shopping then to dinner. Hotel and sleep at about 12:00 am. Another LONG day, but so fun!

DISCLAIMER: If you click on any of the links to the bands it will lead to a YouTube of a music video and there could be cuss words....watch with caution.....

SUNDAY, the day she was waiting for! FESTIVAL DAY!!! Panic! At The Disco, she was so excited to see them, Joywave (whom I was excited to see, I love them! I'm a big Alt music fan.), The Wombats, who were amazing!! AND.....The Front Bottoms, think pop punk and this is who we came for!! She was so excited.

But first we must Cheese Steak! Tony Luke's Oh yeah!!

Okay, better, now FESTIVAL!!! Oh man, I am tooooo old for this any more. I was not happy in that crowd and thankfully she was over it after the first band.

Thats much better, no press of people.

For some reason I didn't get any pics of The Front Bottoms, but I did get pics of Panic! He is a true performer. He shines on stage.

Happy Baby Girl.....Nothing could make me happier than to see one of my kids truly happy about something. I would (and have) move heaven and earth for them. I am so happy and fortunate that we are able to just pick up and fly her across the US to see a band she likes. I thank God for it and her and her sisters (and husband) often.

Monday morning 5:00 am and thankfully my grouch face kept people out of that seat!

Happy girl with her McDonald's Coffee.

Bye Philly....

Um, hey Orlando. We had a 1 hour lay over in Orlando that turned into 3 1/2 hour layover. I was so over it and so tired!!! But we made it safe and sound to Memphis at around 2:00 pm Monday.

While we were gone the other two were with Nana and Papooh and had a BLAST. They went out to eat one night and the Fair the next day. Georgia Won both soccer games. They were wore out by the time I got home. Everyone went to bed early Monday night!!

Friday Night (9-11-15) soccer practice got rained out, so Japanese food it is!

Saturday after the 1st soccer game they headed to the fair.

Animal lover!

Could that kid be any more beautiful????

They rode a helicopter at the fair.....

And really enjoyed it. Scared the poop out of me to know they were doing it....I guess what happens with Nana stays with Nana...

Hope everyone has had a great last two weekends!
