Wow, this week is moving, whoohoo! Looking forward to Friday. My husband is in D.C. for the week at his office and he comes home on Friday and I already can't wait and he only left his am.
Today Lydia went to the Allergist to find out why she is sick all the time. We got some answers and some hope. She was given the diagnose of Chronic sinus disease and acute asthma. He did a CT of her sinus and poor thing let me tell ya. Totally all the way not a bit clear! About 99% blocked on both sides. She also had blood taken to test for an immunity deficiency, because she does get sick so much and so easy. She spends about 3/4 of her life sick. So fingers crossed that we will find some answers and get her better. We go back in 6 weeks for another CT to see if things get better after her 6wks of treatment. Oh and she has NO allergies, woohoo!! We did the test on her back and nothing, so no shots!
This Sunday is the girls 1st Sunday of Religion classes, so lets hope that they love it. I know fat chance, but maybe?
One of my long lost talk to every month or so friends and I have decided to become each other's walking partners to help in the fight of fat. I'm so excited!!!
My parents were down for the weekend and got to do some good visiting with the kids. We took them to the Delta Fair and had fun. We got our share of carnie food and it was YUMMY!!! But what the heck man. One "Game" was giving away bunnies. Yes I said that right RABBITS!! What is this 1950? I felt SO bad for the poor little things, God only knows how they are cared for and what kind of home they would go to.
Speaking of Poor animals. I saw myself in my child today. Living in the suburbs you sometimes see things you wish you didn't. I have seen deer get stuck on very busy streets. Well today a poor dog was running down the sidewalk of a busy street to a even busier street. My child came undone. She cried so hard and begged me to stop and help the dog. Something I would of done as a child (even sometimes now). I have such a soft spot for animals, I would have 10 dogs if I could. She was so mad at me that I didn't stop to help she wouldn't talk to me. Poor kid, poor dog.
This week I have had Health Room duty for Lydia's school. Let me tell ya, yuck!! Pee pee pants and sick kids are NO fun!! I feel for the kids and most of them just want to go home. There was one poor kids who was really sick and his mom would not come get him, how sad! It was kinda funny to see the "Sick" kids come in and poof not so sick once mom would agree to come get them. Hehe. Little shysters. But hey I can't say I wasn't one of them once.
