My house is a mess anyone want to help out? I have been yucky feeling the past few days and my house is showing the signs. You ever have those days when you look around and go Wow how did this happen? I woke up that way today. That's ok, I'll have plenty to do to pass the time.
This weekend is the Delta Fair here, my kids are so excited. Some yummy fair food and some good ol redneckin!
I am in need of a recipe (Amy help). My grandma and I think one of my aunts used to or still does make a slaw like recipe that has ramen noodles (uncooked) almonds and cabbage with a vinegar dressing. Holy moly it's so so so good. If anyone out there knows please send it to me. I have a hankerin!
Today I did my 1st duty as a room mom. I sat and tore out workbook sheets to help my daughters teacher out. Oh man my daughter was so proud that her mommy was at school. I think that totally made her day. I'm thinking of taking the Paraprofessional test to be a teachers aide, so once all my kids are in school, maybe I can work at the school where they go?? Maybe???? I don't know how much I like kids, no just kidding, well kinda, hehehehe.
This weekend is a holiday weekend, whoohooo! No school on Monday, YAY! Very excited about NOT getting up that day, hehehe.

Don't know if I'm the "Amy" you're referring to, but Mom's made that slaw before. Of course she can't find the recipe! She knows that you shred your cabbage and a little onion and cauliflower. You toast ramon noodles and sliced/slivered almonds in butter until lightly browned. The dressing is equal parts sugar and apple cider vinegar along with soy sauce (we think around 1T but are unsure about this part of the recipe - you'll have to taste it). I think there's something else in the mix but can't remember what (I'm thinking it has brocolli and/or sunflower seeds in it also).
Yes your the Amy I'm talking about. Dang, I love that stuff. I'll have to play around with the recipe and see what I get. Thank you!!!
My bosses wife has the recipe and is if she remembers is going to bring it in tomorrow!!
