Tubes on Thursday
I'm so happy that she will be out of pain and that her ear infections will go away. But am so scared that my little tiny tiny baby will be knocked out. And what makes things really yuck is that she has acid reflux so they want to put an IV in and a breathing tube in. UGH!!! I hate to think of that!!! They say it will last only a few minutes and then be done, fingers crossed she is in no pain and keep us in you thoughts on Thursday.

Ear infection HELL!
Yes yes ladies and gents that is where I live as of late. My baby who is 8 almost 9 months old has had an ear infection since almost birth. But it's been really really bad the last month and half. So tomorrow we go to see a ENT (ears nose throat). God willin and the creek don't rise we will be sportin tubes soon! Poor baby hasent been able to breath thru her nose in like a month, so we are also a hopin and a prayin that we will get our (her) adenoids out too, but she may be too young for that and may have to wait till she gets older. I have been up almost every night with her and I can't even tell you how many batteries we have gone thru with the swing ( place she likes to sleep best while in ear pain). But on a developmental note she is gearing up to crawl. She is flippin her self over and shoving them little fat baby legs up and doing the booty shimmy. It's so cute and yet so sad. I'm so not ready for this to go by. She's my last baby!!! Anywho, soon I hope to be able to blog regularly.

Happy Father's Day!!
Sending out a happy father's day to all you dads. Hope you have a great one. My daughters woke up this am very very happy and excited to see their daddy open his gifts. They made him a coffee mug with their hand prints on it, the bigger girls made him coasters as well. We also go him a new Polo and some khakis. He will look very nice tonight when we go out to eat with is dad (woohoo, can you feel how excited I am to eat with the father in law and the step-mother in law). I made him a big ol country breakfast. Country ham, bacon, gravy, grits with homemade biscuits. It was yum!

Southern Snobbery
Ok ya'll, I have been, to say the least obsessed with blogs as of late. Not like my kids are hungry and dirty obsessed, but I love to read em. Like a little voyeur peeking into someones life window. Anywhoo, being that I'm a southern lady and am raising southern women of the future, I love the preppy and southern blogs. I feel like us Southern ladies know preppy very well and that being a southern lady it's just the nature of the beast here. So do northern folks get preppy like us (I know gasp, now breath}????? Don't we have like a patent on pearls, mint julep cups, monogramming, SEC football and all that jazz? My children and I say ma'am, we Never do rude thing in public, say please and thank you, we brush our teeth then say our prayers. I mean we live and breath the southern way of life. Just tonight we had an in prompt to girls night at my house and it was complete with a Lilly theme a full spread of cheeses, dips, drinks (of adult and children in nature} on the patio over looking our pool and the lake. In just a few hours I can do this, so southern of me. Not to ramble, but I was reading a blog about a preppy mom and then read her profile and she is from a northern state a way northern state and I was like OMG, will the ladies brigade come get me??? I mean what do they know of smocking, hair bows, monogramming, madras, pearls, and our wonderful southern customs, church, daddy and momma? I had a not southern woman ask me once "by the way, whats with the hairbows on your girls that have to match every outfit they have and why are they so big?", I tell ya'll I about fell out. Anywho, what do ya'll think, btw, I have had a few and may sound crazy. Just gettin all territorial. So is it a southern thing or is it a state of mind and not the state you live in????

Waffles and wine. Rambling....
Monday night was one of those nights where I forgot to take something out for dinner so the kids had easy mac and the husband and I ate whaever. The husband decided to go to the store to look for something for himself. I had said that waffles sounded good or Amy's Kitchen Indian Mattar Paneer dinner, YUM!!! So the husband looked for a indian dinner for me, not able to find what I like he picked up some waffles, belgin, yum!! He gets home shows them to me all beaming like he is the BESTEST ever. I being a mean wife went "What the heck! These are multi grain, dairy free, gluten free, egg free waffles. What the hell are they???" Man did that take the wind out of his sails. Wow some days I can be a real you know what!!! So I said well I'll try them and see. They tasted like cardboard sprinkled with wheat germ. YUCK, after the butter and gallon of Mrs. Butterworth they were edible. So I thought wow you know what would go great with this??? A hugemongous glass of Fume Blanc, yes sir that was a tasty dinner at 9pm.
The next day started off beyond awesome. UGH, you know, you sit up and the 1st words out of your mouth are something you would NOT want your sweet child to hear, something with a F or a S. Baby girl slept in, why oh why on a Tuesday, why not Sunday when mommy has a "headache". Anyway, I had 20 minutes to throw some clothes at the kids hoping they would fall onto thier bodies, feed them something nutritioius and healthy (stop snickering, Tony says that Frosted Flakes are part of a healthy nutritrious breakfast), feed baby girl, and semi dress myself. I did it, made it to VBS on time. Mind you I was THAT mom dropping off her kids. Let me paint you the picture, shall I. I was wearing my beloved Memphis Tigers hat, because my hair had so much oil someone might of slipped had I left it down. I might or might not of been wearing the shirt I went to bed in and I might or might not of forgot to put my panties on (gotta air out at night) and I was wearing black velvety pants in 100 degree weather and ooohhh yet the piece de resistance I was chewing gum becase I didn't have time to brush my teath. Oh and lets not forget I kinda had the Britany Spears make-up look going from a few month back, you know yesterdays black mascara down to the cheek bones. I was looking sexy yes indeed! I took my kids to VBS and then I headed to the grocery store sans panties! Getoverit!! Suck beyond suck was daughter #1's best friends mom was parked next to me. You know the 6ft blonde super hot mom that looks great all the time. Awesome. I pretended I was looking for coupons in the floor board of the van for about 20 minutes so I wouldn't have to talk. UGH, shame on me.
On a clean note, I have since showered and brushed my teeth and put on fresh make up. Tonight is SITC!!! YES YES! After we are going to Bosco's for a drink and I plan on having crispy duck spring rolls. YUM!!

VBS
My house is so still right now. My older daughters are at VBS my baby is down for her nap, wow. No cartoons raging in the background, no sister fighting. I might actually get some stuff done. This peace only lasts until noon for one week. 3 house for one week what an awesome thing. Maybe daughter #2 will go to Pre-K next year? My husband is so against it?? He's a crazy man!
Soooo Florida. We stayed here and yes it is really that pretty. The rooms were awesome. The kids had bunk beds to sleep in. Woohoo! We only left so husband could get new swim shorts, his were a bit big and showing way way too much of him to the other beach goers. Other than that we stayed put. We went across the street in to the bay side of the resort to eat at a nice place. Husband had blackened lobster, I had Island Chicken. The weather was so great, sunny everyday and not a cloud in sight. The water was so nice, clean beach. Since it was a private beach area no teenagers/20somethings drinking and acting like asses. Tons of families.
On Saturdays I go shopping with my friend Michelle (hi). I got the cutest outfit. There was this awesome awesome outfit in the gift shop of the hotel that I was drooling all over every time we would pass. Cute white linen pants, black halter top, black snappy sandals with some cute beadish necklace and bracelet with a turquoise bag. OMG so cute. So I went on the hunt once home to recreate it for much much less (pants alone were 114.00). And I DID it!! Got some cute white capri pants 17.99, black sexy plunge neckline shirt with a long bottom (for the belly that has given refuge to 3 kids), cute black sandals/flipfopish with a cute silver horse bit buckle on the top. Now my jewelery hunt begins. I don't know if I wanna do a necklace or not? And for the turquoises bag??? Maybe I can find one on the low low somewheres?
Off to do some laundry and clean. Oh what a glamours life a stay at home mommy leads. Nothing like the 50's tv shows would have you think! I'm seriouse I want to hire someone to come 1 or 2 times a week to do my laundry. UGH.
