Glum

I have been glum all week and don't know why??? I have everything I could want! I think it's got something to do with the time change, and the fact that my husband is never able (or willing) to spend time with me in the evenings? I don't know what the deal is. If he is at home and not working he is on the stupid freaking computer playing some stupid game with his stupid friends. It's really annoying! The evenings normally end up with me sitting in the den watching TV and him on the computer in there cussing at one of his "friends" because they got him killed on some stupid computer game. Very aggravating. I said something to him tonight before he rushed off to school after work. I got the "Whatever, I'm here, if you want to do something with me than you need to say something". Because it's my responsibility to always plan out our lives in every aspect. So aggravating! So any who, tonight I'm here alone again. After school he's off to a friends house to hang out because he needs time by himself. UGH!!!! OK, that's out and off my chest so I'm done.

Ok, so now to my next grumble. I can't find a book I want to read. Anyone out there have any suggestions? I love to read, and am always reading something. So it's very aggravating to not find something I really want to read. I am reading, Eat Love Pray. It's good and all but I'm not "into it", ya know. I will finish it, but I have a feeling it will take a while. I also have Water for Elephants. I haven't started that yet and don't know why? Just a mental block I guess. I just finished The 1st of the Sookie Stackhouse series, it was an easy quick read. I'm into just about all kinds of books. Some of my favorites are "The Red Tent" "We're just like You only Prettier" "Bright Lights, Big Ass", I also REALLY enjoyed "Abundance, A Novel of Marie Antoinette" "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan". So if you have read any of these books and enjoyed them please make me a suggestion.

Am I the only one who has eaten their weight in mini candy bars?? I tell ya, It seems that my regular meals have all been pushed out of the way so I can eat miniature candy. I wonder why I feel all yucky when I lay down at night??? Hummmm????

ARG! A flipping telemarketer just called my house and it's flipping 8:33pm. My kids are in bed!! Now thing 1 and 2 are up, great! Good thing Mini Thing is still out.

I'm off to tuck kids back into bed, you all have a good one.

I'm so with you on the darn Halloween candy. I'm sustaining life on Twix, Milky Ways, and an occassional Snickers.

Can I surmise that the True Blood HBO series is based on the Sookie Stackhouse books? My husband and I are ADDICTED to that show. Even better that Entourage follows.

I picked up "The Other Boleyn Girl" in B&N on day because it was out front and caught my eye by Philippa Gregory and loved it (hated the movie btw).

In fact I've since bought all of her books from that series and read them all. My mother like them and read them all also. She & I have passed them around at work too, which reminds me that a girl a work with still has two of them....I can round up a few and mail them to you if you'd like.

Okay, so I should have proof read my comment before I hit the "publish" button at the bottom.

I type like I'm from rural So.IL!!

I'm just now on my first cup of coffee, maybe I should have a rule of NO blog commenting until AFTER the first cup is done.

Read Water For Elephants!!! Before you even mentioned it, that was the book I was going to suggest. I read the Twilight series....very entertaining. Not deep, but still entertaining...you'll get sucked in. Right now I am reading "The Book Thief". Good book so far. Oh, I also read "Hannah's Dream" recently. That was a sweet, simple, quick read.

Let me know what you find!
