New Orleans,

I had a BLAST in New Orleans. I acted like a child and danced in the streets. My kids think that is funny. I also fell in the street, not so funny! I had a blast and am so thankful for my friend Michelle, she is the best a girl could have! And her momma too, she was fun. So here we go.

This is Michelle and I waiting for our Vampire Tour to start, yes Vampire tour. She and I have a strange love for the fanged ones. Silly and juvenile but so much fun. This is not the best of photos because my hair is beating Michelle in the face, but I look good, hehehe!

Here we are getting ready to go out on Sunday night. Night of the old and strange in New Orleans. But we had a BLAST! We went to a rocker club and acted like total idiots. Got yelled at by the bouncer (me) and did the Ashely Simpson dance.

Here we are on the river walk, we had just had Cafe Du Monde beignets and coffee. YUM!!

Photos are not in order, here we are again getting ready to go out.

Again not in order, waiting for the Vampire tour to start. Our tour guide was named Johnathan and I think he was drunk.

Here we are at the Crescent City Brew House. They used to have a rockin Bread Pudding, but now it's not so good. It got sent back.

Here we are at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. We had lunch there and they took some awesome pics.

Our trip was so much fun and I'm so glad I got to go!!! I can't wait to do it again. We walked so much and shared all our food, I lost 3lbs on our trip. I love it when that happens.

The Big Easy!

Tomorrow is trip 2 this year to New Orleans! I can't wait!!! I'm going with my BFF and her mommy. We are gonna whoop it up y'all! Not really, I'm such a loser that I can't stay up late anymore. Seriously sad case here! Things I plan to do. 1, eat bread pudding from The Crescent City Brew House, YUMMMM-O FOLKS!!! 2, eat a hot dog from a hot dog vendor. 3, eat beignets at Cafe du Monde (hummmmm there seems to be a theme running here). 4, get a silly drink in a silly fleur de lis cup. 5, eat Gumbo at the Gumbo shop. And have a GREAT time!!! We are staying at the Hotel St. Marie, it's really nice. I have stayed there a few times and really enjoy it. The only poo thing is it's supposed to rain while we are there, so everyone keep your fingers and toes crossed that it won't! I leave tomorrow at 5:30am, yuck, but can't wait to get there!!! See you all Monday night.

Photos

Here are some random photos
1st here is my beautiful Claire, we were messing around with the camera today. This is her new dress she LOVES from Target.

Georgia helping mommy "clean"

Eating lunch. Cottage cheese is one of her most favorite lunches EVER! She would eat a tub a day if I let her. Which is good since she won't touch milk.

This is also today, Lydia. We messing around outside while they were riding bikes in the driveway.

And this is where I would LOVE LOVE Love to be right now. This is the view from our room at the Hilton Sandestin. Let me tell you this is one of the best places to stay out there. I really would love to be back there right now!!!

Sheep, peas and potty

So here is Claire and her BF Ella, they had a dress up parade at school. Ella was Little Po Peep (I think or Mary had a little lamb and if that's the case then the title to this post is messed up) and Clarie was Princess and the pea.

And then there are these photo's and a back story. So we went to Toys/BabiesRus to get a gift for a b-day party. While there I let Georgia down to wander the store and just burn some energy. While we were in the baby area she kept going to the potty seats, so I said why not? I bought it, brought it home and put it in the bathroom. If she's gonna show interest at 18mo than I'll play along, even if she's just playing. I stared the pee training for my other two at 18mo, so why not her? We get home and she is yanking her diaper off wanting to sit on it. So I let her and sure enough she pees in that thing, then puts her hand in the pee. So we made a big to do over it and that is where she wanted to stay for the rest of the night, or until she was too blue and cold looking for me to stand.

Off the rails

Today I ate too much! I had pizza hut for lunch, 1 slice of BBQ pizza a quarter slice of Hawaiian, and HUGE salad. I had a slice of brownie that I made a few days ago, like 5 or 6 spicy chili Doritos, a slice of left over southwestern frittata that I made last night for dinner and then two fat free turkey dogs. UGH, I really pigged out. Well tomorrow I will be better! AND I didn't go to the gym today. I had to fast for some blood work done at my OB's office to see if I'm broken. So after that I just wanted to eat and I made really poor choices and should of followed up with the gym. But my laziness got the best of me. So I am publicly beating my self up, join in would you.

After my disgrace at the Hut Lydia (whom took a mental health day from school, total embarrassment yesterday at Social Studies which involved the whole class laughing at her and today she couldn't face them, she gets one pass day a year today was her day) and I went to Walmart for some senseless spending since it's that kinda day. I got some of the best smelling candles. One is Coconut Lime and the other is Pineapple Fusion. They smell super good and they were a steal at like 3.86 a candle. Then I got some scented oil for those little burners that have tea candles in them. It's called Citrus Tropical Fruit or something like that. My house is smelling YUMMY!

Ed ran off to New Orleans today with his dad. They are staying at some sheesheepoopoo house on Lake Pontchartrain for the weekend. Fishing, sight seeing, D-Day museum and outrageous meals sound like no fun to me anyway! Staying home ALONE with 3 kids sounds WAY more fun!! But that's ok, I go back in just a few more weeks anyway!

My anniversary is coming up. April 22nd I will have been married 14 years. I am so stumped on what to get him?? If he really want's something he just gets it. It makes it even harder being a stay at home mom, who doesn't do the bill anymore (I was an inch away from a nervous break down after Lydia was born and quit my job) to take large amounts of money from our account and he not know what it's for. Plus we do the if you can't pay cash you don't need it Dave Ramsey thing. So any suggestions you all could throw my way would be good ones. And he's a total geek!!! Loves all things geeky. Not the outdoorsy kinda guy. But does like sports to a degree. Loves Hockey.

Tomorrow I'm doing a baking day. Waffles, breads (quick and yeast) muffins, pancakes and monkey bars to set back in the freezer for a later morning. I'm looking forward to it. Just me and my kids. I think it will be fun for us. Speaking of kids today I taught Lydia how to add large sums in her head, it was fun watching her wheels turn as she was thinking. But she got the hang of it and was pumping out numbers at me as fast as I could throw her a math problem. She's such a smart kid. Today Claire had her Nursery Rhyme Parade at school she was Princess and the Pea (yeah yeah yeah, not a nursery rhyme I know). I took a pillow and some play peas from their kitchen and poked holes in them then sewed them to a travel pillow. She got to wear a past Halloween costume of Lydia's. It was an elaborate princess dress. She LOVED it, and she was SUPER cute.

Hope you all have a rocking Friday and a great weekend! I'm going to read now!
