I must either be a insane woman or a very brave one. Tomorrow is Lydia's 7th birthday and tonight we are having the birthday slumber party. Yes, I let Lydia invite 4 of her best friends over and then let Claire invite 2 of her friends(just so she's not left out of the big girl fun) over for a sleepover. So I have 8 little girls jacked up on sugar here and I'm so ready for bed. I have only had to go into bed rooms and ask them to shush it about 840,000,152 times. So not so bad I would say, hehe.
Oh I also chopped my hair off and got high lights. I LOVE it. I got an inverted bob that is angled toward my chin with big chunky blond highlights. I think it looks so awesome!

Don't you just love it
When your sweet little baby comes crawling up to you sweet like and you get a whiff of their stink diaper. I ask her "Do you have shooweeies" She yanks at her pants waves her hand in front of her face and repeats the shoowee sound and then takes off as fast as her tiny little legs with go, which can be quite fast. You catch her she squirms and wiggles so much you almost drop said sweetie on her little head. Finally wrestle her down to the diaper changing position only to discover she had squirmed and wiggled her poop up to her neck. I love these days! We had two of these yesterday, fun hu. Wanna trade lives, yeah I didn't think so.
Titans didn't go all the way. They beat themselves. I would say Baltimore beat them, but they just kinda stood there and watched as the Titans score for them over and over. UGH, the best team in the freaking league and the throw that junk away. I was so sad. I was also sad to see Fl win the Collage title. I know I should be happy another SEC team won, but I'm NOT, not liking the Gators! But that's ok, I do like their QB, he's a cutie.

Oh good lord!
I'm so sick of hearing about football! Since my husband was born and raised here in TN he is so stoked! But I'm so tired of hearing about it and him discussing it with all his friends and this and that. Good gracious, tomorrow playoffs, I just hope they go all the way for him.

What have you been up to?
I have been doing lots of cleaning and cooking. My only New Year's resolution we to be a more productive person all around. Not that I'm not awesome now, but a little scatter brained and messy. So really it's to say focused and not be so messy. So far so good. I'm really surprised how easy it is to do as long as I keep on the mess. I know something I should of realized about 15 years ago. Oh well.
As far as cooking goes, boy oh boy have I done a ton of that. My latest I made were homemade Broccoli and cheese soup. It was so good. I made that yesterday for lunch. It was a day that called for it. It was rainy and COLD yesterday. I made homemade turkey (leftover) pot pie. I had a lot of food left over from the holidays so I froze it all and am slowly using it up in other recipes. I used leftover broccoli in my soup from all the veggie trays here over the holidays.
I'm working on my menu for the next upcoming week and would LOVE to have the Thai Peanut noodle recipe, I'm so with your son on this one (Kira). YUM! I had it saved on my computer somewhere and have lost it, again. Sorry. That's another goal of mine is to keep us out of restaurants as much as possible. I don't go to eat because the food is better than the food I make at home, not at all. But because some days I'm lazy and just don't want to cook and clean up after a meal. But now that we are a family of 5 it's just was too expensive for us to go out as a family. Even fast food costs us an arm and a leg. So in the long run it will be better for us health wise and budget wise.
Yesterday was Georgia's 15mo check up. Everything is good with her, other than she's a lazy bum and won't walk. She is still tiny at right under 17lbs and is short at right under 28inches. But she is growing according to Georgia. She is doing well as far as growth charts are concerned. She will be a little bity thing like her sisters and that's ok. She is chatting up a storm and it's so funny so see her evolve.

That's how old my oldest daughter will be in 16 days. It's gone by so fast and boy oh boy do I wish I could go back and enjoy her as a baby for a little longer. I can't say that's it's sad because I'm so enjoying watching her grow up into a little girl. I love watching her personality change into this fun little person who loves the color blue, reads like crazy, is a little girly and a little not. She loves being a Brownie and she loves gymnastics. She is so caring and gets so upset over what she feels to be an injustice to others. Boy oh boy does she love her baby sister and her middle sister too. She is also a temperamental hot head that lands her in time out quite a bit. But that's her and I love it.
